That was tough and I think that is just what Novak needed. 2nd week of a Major rarely gives you an easy match so I wanted Novak to have to move up the gears so not to be caught cold.
Next up will be Ferrer who is an eternal runner. He will not give up on points so this again will be a hard match for Novak. One, like today I expect him to come through but I expect another set to be dropped, maybe in a TB.
The only slight worry from today was the amount of games broken, ok against Hewitt but not against higher ranked players. He has a few days to work on his game and I have no doubt he will be giving it 100% to have sorted by Wednesday.
