It was not the way he would of wanted to move into the next round but into the 4th round he is. Viktor had to retire after the 1st set due to a stomach injury. Not sure if he went into the match with the problem as I didn't see any reaction from him during the match to suggest he had pulled something.
Anyway it was an ok set of tennis with a swap of breaks early on but with more errors coming off the Troicki racquet Nole was able to take advantage and took the set 6-2.
Almagro or Ljubicic awaits in the next round and hopefully the lack of match time today will not be an issue.
